Essentials & Food Supplies to the Needy during Covid-19

The Foundation has provided food supplies to the nearby 7 villages. Additionally, food packets were distributed to covid warriors on daily basis. The efforts were thanked and appreciated by Government Authorities.

Over 7500 Tress Planted

In the process of transforming the splendid area into vigorous greenery, Ms Ramya and Shri Bharath managed to have planted 3500 trees in and around the village. These trees belong to variegated species such as neem, banyan, black plum, coconut and peepal.

Medical Camps for the Villages

Shri Raveendran and Ms. Vanathi Manickam of our Maramaram team have been conducting health camps around the place. They invite doctors from government hospitals, led by Dr. Kapil who along with his own team helps people of the locale with medical necessities.

Primary Education and Vedic Chanting

Two families from Assam work in the village temple’s ‘Madapalli’ to handle the preparation of prasad and its related activities. Our team takes charge of the school expenses of their children and also of children from the surrounding villages. The most laudable act by the Maathrudev team includes their assisting children across caste and religion to provide basic education.

Annadhanaam

Shri. Kumaresan and his team take up the duty of arranging ‘annadhanam’ for the people in and around the village. He serves food for the villagers in temples and also for children in government schools. His team works tirelessly even during festive seasons and occasions of consecration in temples.

Skill Development

Sakthivel and his fellowmates from Mahabalipuram were given proper training on Sculptor Making. They were given training along with stipend , accommodation and food for about 4 years. Now they have started to make a living on their own.

Shaping Careers

Mr Prashant and his friends who were drop outs of the college were given proper training by the Foundation on cooking based on their interests for about 2 years. Now they have become their own Masters of Cooking. They take huge orders for Catering.
